Situated in the Avenue des Cerisiers, a quiet road in the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert area, the “La Magia” restaurant
is a tasty discover for fans of traditional Italian cooking.
The restaurant marks you by its classiness and
relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, which opens onto the dining room, helps create
a family-like environment. But it is above all the warm welcome and kindness of
Mr Gennaro and his staff that put customers at ease.
Having studied at the hotel school in Posillipo,
Gennaro has a real passion for his restaurant which he has been running
for more than 35 years. If you ask him where he got his experience he will
answer pragmatically, “with time and hard work”. Time clearly well spent, given
the quality of the dishes proposed by the ‘La Magia’ restaurant.
Mr Gennaro’s cooking marries different regional
Italian traditions, imported products (buffalo mozzarella, the culatello Zibello", the "cinta senese"…), to the grilled
fish specialities and salted sea bass.
“A dish I’m particularly proud of is our fresh
artichoke carpaccio”, Gennaro declared to the QuellePassion team. “A couple who are among our regular customers come here ever week
and can never resist ordering a plate of it.”
